Where does Screen Printing International ship?

SPi does not ship within the UK at this time because we have an exclusive dealer there currently (Dave Roper Ltd). If you would like to know the shipping cost for a product, simply put it into the shopping cart, and enter your country into the drop down. You should get a shipping cost.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Small package parcels (not on a pallet or skid):
UK customers will generally receive their orders in a day or two from stock.
If you are located within Europe you will receive your order in 2-5 days, subject to stock.
If you are located outside Europe you should expect small parcels to be delivered within 7-10 days.*

*Transit times are based on items from stock.

Orders shipping Freight(items weighing more than 40kg’s):
Freight shipments take a little longer to pack, process, and ship. UK customers should expect these orders in 2-7 days. Other European Countries should expect freight orders in 7-14 days. Transit time for freight orders going to countries outside Europe depends on freight method (ocean or air). Transit time’s will be quoted at the time the order is placed.*

What if you do not have all items in stock when I order?

We do our best to keep items in stock and on the shelf – there are occasions when we sell out quickly on items. Once you have placed an order you will receive an email notifying you of your tracking information. If an item is on backorder and we are not able to fill the order in a timely manner we will notify you to review your options and any waiting times.

Will I receive Tracking information when I place an order?

Yes, we will send you tracking once the order is packed and processed through the email and that you provide us. For ocean shipments, we will send you an estimated time of arrival window. If you have a shipping or tracking question please send an inquiry to our Support Team

Why are the costs for some items higher than the cost of the same items on another website?

Screen Printing International distributes a lot of equipment that is imported from the United States and other far off locations. When you see a price on our website it includes the high cost of shipping these items to the UK and also includes import duties and other costs.

If you do want to compare ‘apples to apples’ then you need to consider high transport costs in your calculations – especially true where an item is sizable and with a heavy weight. As an example – a 100Kg screen printing equipment order valued at €1500 (1500 Euros) could cost€500-€600 in freight charges from the USA. After a 2% duty charge, customs, and brokerage, it would not be practical to sell these items at the same cost as they are sold for in the USA.

We do all the hard work so that you focus on enjoying your equipment and supplies with the minimum fuss. If you need to change anything or have a servicing requirement then you do not have to deal with anyone who is many hours outside of your time zone and deal with a super high freight cost. Our prices are not always the exact same as the manufacturer overseas but now you know why. Phone or email us and we can help you quickly and without stress.

How is my item shipping?

Most smaller items that can ship in one or several boxes will ship air or express service. Most equipment will ship ocean freight (35 transit days) to your closest major port. We can ship to your door upon request. Just sent us an email to sales@screenprintinginternational.com.

Can I return an item if I’m not happy with it?

Items can be returned within 14 days of purchasing. We require that all customers inspect their orders and verify all equipment is functional within 48 hours of receiving it. We strive to have 100% shipping accuracy but we employ humans and they occasionally get things wrong. SPI will resolve any problems that you may have with an order and as quickly as we can. All claims made after 30 days will be reviewed on a case by case basis and at our discretion. Having happy satisfied customers is what we want so do let us know how we can serve you better. Unused items can be returned for a full refund or credit – customers must pay return freight costs. A 5-15% restocking fee may apply depending on the scenario.

Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. However, we’ll refund this return shipping charge to you if the item being returned was damaged in transit, received in error or the incorrect item was shipped. Original shipping charges will not be refunded/credited. Customers must contact us within 30 days of receiving a product if they desire to return it for a refund. All returns made after 30 days of receiving a product are ONLY eligible for in store credit. (All returns are subject to restocking fees.)

What items can I NOT return

We will happily take back most unused items except:-

  • Custom made equipment
  • Software /Artwork / DVD’s / Downloaded content
  • Custom mixed inks
  • Other ‘specially’ ordered items

Do you insure shipments?

Screenprinting International defaults to our shippers guarantee on delivery, once it leaves our building it is out of our control and sometimes subject to extended circumstance delays such as weather.

All packages are insured by Screen Printing International. If you have a problem with an order please send an inquiry to our Support Team and we will respond quickly (normally within 12 hours)

Refunds:

Once a refund has been authorised, SPI will re-issue funds via the same method that was used during the original payment. If an order was paid with a Visa card, the refund must be issues back to the same Visa card that the payment originally came from.

Can I get expedited shipping if I need items sooner than a few days?

Yes, please contact us via phone or email and we’ll let you know the cost to expedite your order.

Lost or Damaged items in transit:

We do our best at Screen Printing International to ensure that your order is packed in a manner that will prevent any damage to your items, but sometimes there items do get damaged despite our best efforts. We’ll do everything we can to replace, fix, or amend anything that does not arrive in working condition within reason.

Replacing lost or damaged shipments: SPI will do its best to replace the lost piece of equipment or supply. A replacement will be sent the same shipping method that the original shipment was shipped unless the customer would like to pay extra for an expedited shipment. In the event that a replacement cannot be made to satisfy the customer, SPI will refund the cost of the shipment. SPI will not be held responsible for lost wages or production time in the event of a lost or damaged shipment.

Please check your delivery before confirming receipt to see if there is damage to the box or items inside. If there is any damage then please sign for it as ‘damaged’, take photos and report these damages to us within 24 hours so we can file a claim with the shipper and replace any broken or damaged items for you.  Please contact us at sales@screenprintinginternational.com.

Will there be additional importing costs to ship these items to me?

There may be an importing duty, VAT, or customs fee to import items from another country. If you’re located in the EU, and have a VAT number, you will not have to pay anything additionally to receive your goods. If you do not have a VAT number, you will be subject to paying the importing VAT rate for your country.

These are costs that are not in SPI’s control. Its recommended that you check into the customs importing regulations for your country before making an order to avoid any unforeseen expenses.

Will there be additional charges if I pay with my credit card?

We will happily accept credit cards from over 125 Countries. Your issuing bank may charge you a small foreign currency conversion fee – please check with your issuing bank.

SPI will not charge you an additional fee to use a credit card, paypal, or bitcoin. We absorb these fees.

Vastex products:

Screen Printing International can ship Vastex equipment anywhere in the world other than to Germany, France, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. There are currently dealers in these regions, and they should be contacted to order Vastex’s great product range.

How does the World Market work?

Screen Printing Internationals World Market area is a place where you can order various packages and equipment at a lower cost straight from the manufactures website. Most of these items would ship via ocean freight, and would have a 35 transit time. While SPi does ship other items outside of the world market straight from the manufacturer, these shipments would typically ship via air freight with a much faster turn around time.
